Billy Graham

Billy Graham Evangelistic Association · Evangelical

Billy Graham (1918-2018) was one of the most recognized evangelists of the twentieth century and the founder of the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association. For more than six decades he preached the gospel in stadium crusades, on radio and television, and before presidents and ordinary listeners alike. Graham spoke in a broadly evangelical style that emphasized repentance, faith in Jesus Christ, and the hope of eternal life.

His messages were direct, urgent, and accessible, designed to reach people who might never attend a local church. Historic footage of his crusades and broadcasts continues to circulate widely, introducing new generations to his call to follow Christ. His legacy shaped modern mass evangelism and inspired countless pastors and missionaries.
